Visiting Metato in 1993 for the first time, Architect Stefano Viviani saw in this village the most important project of his life. Enchanted by its views and peacefulness, he revealed its energy by blending architecture and nature. For over 30 years, he has been renovating uninhabited houses, farms, barns, and stables to bring them back to life under a new authentic light. His works are expressions of the sensibilities of the place, creating comfortable and charming houses in respect of its historical spirit and unique nature.
